ABOUT

When I was about six years old, I invented the word 'stabiliser'.

I was cycling round the garden and the word just came to me. Staggered by my own genius, I ditched my bike and ran in to tell mum who didn't have the heart to set me straight.

I haven't come up with any new words since. But I have managed to make a living out of words for almost 30 years.

In that time, I've been a production editor on an aircraft magazine, a music journalist in the States, an award-winning copywriter at iris London, and, for the past 15 years, a freelancer creating content for big and (mostly) small brands. I've helped clients build sizeable audiences, often with little or no paid advertising budget.

Of late, I've moved into experiential and have focused on building an immersive dining brand from scratch. In two short years, I've won accolades for stimulating the rural economy as well as event innovation, and I've helped launch the UK's newest wine region.
